Right to Buy Conveyancing

Under the Right to Buy scheme, you can buy your home at a price lower than the full market value. This is because the length of time you have spent as a tenant.

For example, you may need to get a loan or mortgage to enable you to exercise the Right to Buy. You will also become responsible for all the costs of maintaining your home, including routine repairs, major structural repairs, and improvements to it. If you become a leaseholder by buying your flat, you should be aware that you will have to pay service charges each year, and also meet the costs of major repairs and refurbishment which can be substantial.

Once you have instructed us we will ask for the paperwork from the council and peruse the documentation and report to you accordingly. The council will guarantee the title and therefore there are not many enquiries that would need to be raised.

Once we have all signed documents from you we would then be able to exchange contracts.
